"Tundra Autumn" stands out for its uneven texture, which is reflected in the different earth tones. The sedimentary rock processed in the STEINBILD "Tundra Autumn" was formed about 540 million years ago, in the age of the supercontinent Pannotia.

The supercontinent Pannotia disintegrated into individual parts. The collision of two continents resulted in the folding of the Caledonian mountains (Variscan mountain building).

The Paleozoic era began with the Cambrian explosion. Almost all the tribes of the animal kingdom that still exist today evolved. During the Paleozoic era, several mass extinctions occurred in the animal and plant kingdoms. Among them was the largest mass extinction in Earth's history at the end of the Paleozoic, when over 90% of marine species and 75% of terrestrial species became extinct.
